We watched "Dangerous lady" miniseries (well, kinda), a highlander episode (ditto), bloopers, L.A.Confidental (blah blah blah.. -shut up!) and Crimson rivers (ooh, French!)

Yes, we did! In the media, there was something for everyone and most important, I met new interesting people and talked trash ad nauseum ;)

Ooh, Comics!

Yes indeed-y. Comicses! What *DO* you read? I need to know everything!
Everything by Vertigo does not count as an answer.:)

Hmm.. At the moment I don't simply have the money to buy anything else than Hellblazer and Bananafish albums, but I'm into Sin city, Ralf Köning, Watchmen, Strangers in Paradise, Akira.. Also some Sandman, Grendel tales, frank miller and whatnot. Bananafish is a great slash manga. Enigma is the best Vertigo ever.

Also, of course, I have Ryhmä-x-, Sarjakuvalehti-, and Marvel-comics, about all before the Egmont era, Excalibur, X-factor, Generation X and others. Hmm, what else? European albums, like Druuna, Enki bilal's and Milo Manara's albums... Some original Heavy Metal magazines... I used to love Elfquest's but I didn't have the money to buy them :(

I tried to like Preacher, Spawn, Hellboy, Cerebrus and Bone but I never really got into them.

If you havent read these books before, you *have* to read Ilpo Lagersted's "Supersankarit" and Scott McCloud's ""Sarjakuva - näkymätön taide", which are absolutely great.

I'm kinda looking if anyone would want to start a little web strip comic with me, but dunno. That would need, like, time and talent ;)

Funny how the money disappears so quickly...
It takes one trip to the Fennica Comics and Poof! it's gone.:)

The only thing I don't read is manga. Almost everything else goes. Except Bone, Grendel and Cerebus.:) (Of the comics you mentioned.)

I keep reading all the X-men titles despite the unreal suckitude that's been happening recently. (Northstar, grrr.) Fortunately Vertigo is continuously excellent so I can keep my addiction healthy.:)

Supersankarit and Nakymaton Taide are familiar even tho I wasn't too impressed with Supersankarit.

What sort of web strip comic?

A funny one? I'm thinking of something that would be in a strip format so it would take only about an hour to draw one strip. (also, no agony of the page constructing) That way, the updates wouldn't stretch too long. Also, the plot should be something pretty good since I dont think anyone would follow a series just because of my artwork. Also, no fantasy! More like contemporary gay soap, or something. So, ongoing drama with situational comedy every now and then. Pretty much to ask.

Something like Boy meets Boy http://boymeetsboy.keenspot.com/
I also followed this pretty good high school cross dressing drama, but it seems to have disappeared :(
