  • [livejournal.com profile] theopteryx threw in an improbatu meme of drawing yourself as a character for MCR's Black Parade video. Nifty! Here is my drawing, which took all five minutes to make:

Eh, only after I noticed that it was supposed to be more Steam Punk than Pride of Frankenstain, but oh well.

  • Scotch 3M gel super glue is the best glue in the world. don't keep other super glues. Is the most expensive, but those cheap ones that glue themselves shut after the first use are even more expensive.

  • Remember when it was thought that every person in the world would someday have their own homepage? the ancient Geocities homepage hosting will close down sometime this year. Raise hand all who has some ten years old homepage with lost passwords still hanging there...

I decided to link the art that I made for [livejournal.com profile] sosodirty anyway, since availability is the key and so on.

Note that the links go straight behind the modesty lj-cut!

This was the first one. Pete/Patrick, NC-17, Straightjacket prompt, and you can see that I know more of anatomy than I know about straightjackets. This, this people actually liked. Which was nice, but this was actually the easiest to draw.

A couple of days later, was this. Pete/Patrick, rated 15, fur suits-prompt. It got a few polite comments, which is okay since obviously I had some troubles in grasping the idea of what is supposed to be hot in fur suits.

And the last one was this. Pete/Patrick, rated 15, infantilism prompt. At this stage people were moving on with no commenting, which I totally get, but it's still a bummer because this was the most ambitious and boldest of the pictures. And the decision to move farther from the more realistic style in this particular prompt is totally intentional. But what would they have commented? That it was hot? cute? Well done? Now I'll never know if they were unsettled by it, which was pretty much the idea, or if they just thought the pic wasn't that good.

The artists of the [livejournal.com profile] yuletart are now revealed!

A gift art for me was Here Is Your Verse (FOB, PG) by [livejournal.com profile] reflectedeve. I absolutely love it!

My pic, a gift for [livejournal.com profile] keraha, was A Scene from an AU (FOB, PG) It's my regular style, so anyone ever seen my style would have figured me out as the artist under two seconds. I quite like it, even when I noticed, like a minute after submitting the art, that I had completely forgotten to draw their tattoos. Even the bat heart one! Who could forget that? *headdesk*

Remember when I made these little dudes? No? This morning I decided to make a Dr. Who/David Tennant figurine for my friend, like, I wouldn't use that much time on it. THREE AND A HALF HOURS later I came up with him, and a few more-or-less literal plot bunnies.

Since Tennant is something like 190cm tall, they are actually in scale ;)

I just spend about a million hours locating my scanner and the chord and installing lost drivers photoshop plugins to get it to work. So, have a totally random Tokio hotel comic strip )

When this picture surfaced over a month ago, I was right away like, "They look like comic book characters!" Yes they do with their tiny size and bulky sneakers. Took me this long to actually try this out. (The background is grey because the actual paper was grey. I had no white paper in the house. How pathetic is that?)

    The original pic:

Here is my quick and dirty:

    P.S. I seriously need a drawing tablet.
