Sep. 21st, 2004 08:21 pmI went to a nutritionist today. Apparently I eat way too much fat and way too little carbs. Also, it seems like they have kicked the "a calorie is a calorie" thinking since I eat less than 1800 kcal a day and still I should eat less, and with different food groups that I'm eating now. As it happened, in the week that got analyzed with this nifty computer program, I happened to eat zero amount of fruit, eggs, fish, alcohol, sugar, potatoes or butter. So what the hell was I eating?
She gave me these food portion size posters. Gee, thanks. I looked one and said, "not going to happen." Like, for a snack, who sane woman eats hard rye bread with nothing but apple slices on it?
Anyway, the diet starts with eating all the unhealthy food from the fridge :)
Then:
1) porridge for breakfast. If wanting anything on it, put berries, no jam or butter.
2) buy fruits. Try to eat them before they rot.
3) take calcium supplements. Cheese would just raise the fat intake way too easy.
4) consider eating a piece of bread at meals.
5) eat at student restaurants if you can.
6) no comfort eating if not absolutely necessary.
7) you have anything more than two portion sizes? Freeze the rest.
blah.
And yes, now that The Sims 2 is out, does anyone know any sims lj communities?
