The radio gig went quite well. The other interviewee was very nervous but relaxed quickly so it was barely noticable in his voice. We had fun, though we were asked most odd questions about sexual feelings of fans etc. The interviewer was full of surprises, he asked me about my My Little Pony collecting, and at that point I noticed that he had researched the subject by visiting my finnish homepage and reading an article about fans there.

Glad the interview went well. :) I was working at the time (yes, me working *lol*) and missed it. Pity, I am horribly interested in hearing how fans and fandoms are discussed in media outside our little bubble. Also, kudos to the host for having done his homework. :)

Speaking of My Little Ponies, are you still planning on making sparkly!ponies?

Yep, ponies are ahead.. working on it ;)

My sister taped it and it seems like my every other word was "niinku". Heh. but, it didn't mess the flow. They were lucky to have- besides two experts- a real fan in the studio. they let me squee a lot to show what it was really about ;)

I know very few people who manage to produce any kind of improvised speech without adding "niinku" every few words. It's certainly not as annoying as my habit of going "siis niinku, toisaalta...toisaalta" and then being silent for thirty seconds before continuing. I'm afraid I have a bad habit of starting arguments with myself while supposedly talking to someone else. :)
