That summer job I mentioned? After four days, I hate it. Took me long, huh? The "two hour break" in the job is total bullshit. You can't take the full break since you simply don't have the time. Also, my work time ends at 17.30, but since the last meal served starts at 17.00, no way in hell I can clear it off and clean the kitchen by that time. I'll be lucky if I'm ready when the buss leaves at 18.00. And because of bad timing with buss schedules, commuting takes one hour one way.
So, now I have to leave home at seven, work 9-10 hours (I'm paid from 7,4 hours) and be home at seven in the evening. Then I'm too tired, physically and mentally, to do anything. Like, clean, or buy cat food, or anything. Tired as I am, off to bed at eleven. This, times six on a week. All this with a poor pay, while working like a horse and smiling and answering idiotic questions like "where is my sugar free jam?" There is no such a thing like sugarless jam, ma'm. Fructose is sugar. Spendid. Do I have brains left in the fall or have they bled out from my ears during the summer?
If this won't change to better in a ways that I can handle (like being faster as my experience grows, or not being in physical pain after the day), I have to contact my employer and ask if they are going to pay me from my full work or are they going to find another worker. Because this sucks.
On the lighter things, I will be receiving Harry Potter soon! Since HP isn't in the theaters here yet, and it won't be in any time soon (not until the schools start) I'm getting it in two nice little burned CD's. I would so much more like to see it in theater first, but I just can't wait.
