These pics probably aren't everybody's piece of cake, so feel free to skip.



Okay, there can't be a lot of those who have these both hobbies /obsessions, and I may be the only chick on earth who combines them. One is collecting My Little Pony's and the other is Boy bands. Some of the MLP collectors have a side hobby of customizing, i.e. crafting new ponies by hand from the old, ruined originals. Customizing can be mighty fun and original and usually it takes a lot of work, from drafting the idea and finding a suitable base to dying and sewing dol hair.

Anyway. About the combining. These are my drafts to custom MLP's Nsync style.

Chris. Spiky mane, tail trimmed with a weed whacker. Brownish colors, Life/Death tattoo as a symbol.

Justin. Curly mane and tail, golden color, celtic cross symbol.

Mane and tail dark on the roots, blond on the tips. Bull tattoo symbol.

I have only one boy pony mold to custom, so Joey will get it. (the clydesdale hooves) Blue, red and gold, superman symbol.

JC will be the only pegasus. Rainbow tail and mane, lion symbol.

So these will be my projects. I will post the results when they are ready. It should take maybe 6 months or so. Oh, and about the collecting. This is a pic of my sis, with who I'm collecting, showing a part of the collection. Believe me, there are ponies in two rows in that cabinet ;)

Oh, dude. You DREW them! That's fabulous! I remember when my sister used to draw out MLPs -- never to *character specifications*, though. I'm so chuffed!

Although, your Superman symbol isn't quite right. But then this is just a mock-up. *g*

The MLP are built in cute! Like Hello Kitty but western.
And maybe I solve the Superman logo question with a sticker, if they still sell those ;)

Hee! That's such a wonderful idea! (Something no one's tried before, surely.) The drawings are lovely - especially rainbow!Pegasus!JC and Lance's flirty pose, heh. Can't wait to see the "real" ponies. Have fun customizing! :)

those are the cutest designs! I love Lance's two-tone hair, and Joey's just makig me grin - I think I'd want to take Chris' colouring a little more vivid, but the life/death tat and the hair styling is *genius*.

Ha! These are so cute. When I first got into this fandom, I joked around with a friend about JC being like a My Little Pony. I was going to do an icon of a MLP with text that said 'My Little JC'. Never got around to it though... I'm quite glad, these ar much more entertaining. :)

that is incredibly cute! If I still had my MLPs I'd sell them to you. (I had the niftiest ones. y'know, the fuzzy ones with gemstones and wings?) Because this is way better than sitting in my closet, waiting for me to have kids.
