I got approved to post on JJB message board, and man, that place is like crack. You post five or ten responses and then stop to think what the hell you are doing. The response time in that board is something like two seconds, and the level of intelligence matches that perfectly. People are responding to things that should be ignored and ignore the things that should be responded. People in there are going to the barricades without proper information, like, they are writing letters to FCC to complain for banning ADIDAS when the song actually hasn't been banned by them but the stations.

Now it seems like Jive is doing some trouble shooting by releasing "Build My World" as a single instead. Both singles are thrown out there to see which one, if none, will float. Maybe ADIDAS will be a hit in Europe and BMW in the deep south? Dunno. This is the first time that I have ever heard somebody releasing two songs at the same time, so probably they are thinking that ADIDAS is dead, in spite of what they are saying to the fans.

And, there should be a racier version of the ADIDAS video soon in the Musicfreedom.com site! whee! If they were really smart, they should quickly print another edition of ADIDAS single, one with the video, and put a huge freaking sticker on it that says "BANNED BY MTV!"

yeah thats board is a little wacky :) I go there on occasion to catch up on news and pics. I find myself reading a few lines but pull myself away because its so crazy. Last time I posted was last December to chat about JCs show in the Boston area.

As for the video... well controversy does breed interest :)

Yeah, those threads are weird. In a one day, They have managed to blame Jive, FCC, Justin, Janet, JC, the management and the song. To the Barricades! Hold your horses! This is what the representative said! The song is great, the song sucks ass. The Wango Tango was great, in the Wango Tango the video got booed. and so on, ad nauseum. I guess people write there to feel the thrill of being part of something.
