I turned on my computer and noticed that it's shut down process had crashed. Okay, nothing is lost, but it's still irritating since all my settings are gone. And I mean *all* my settings. My desktop, my desktop picture, my doc's icons, my screen saver. All my browsers settings, poof. Changing them will be a riot. Remember to do Itunes settings, otherwice it copies every new mp3 to its own folder and my disc space runs out so fast I won't know what hit me. Even my livejournal has forgotten that it's not supposed to ask my password every freaking time.

On the positive side, I went to the dentist yesterday. One cavity, which isn't that bad, tought they all looked at me funny because I refused to take acrylate plastics on my fillings. The cost? From this visit, 6 euros. From the next, 8 euros. I just love the Finnish public health care.

There are no words to describe how I hate acrylate fillings! They may look neat, but teeth fixed with them heal very poorly. The last time they gave me one, I had the most horrible 'vihlonta' for eleven months. Eleven! Okay, so it started to get better after a while, but not being able to drink anything hot or cold for months, wasn't exactly my idea of good health care.

If you refused acrylate, did they put amalgam in instead?

No, they put glass on it. It's actually for children, because the filling probably doesn't last over 5 years. Maybe then I can afford to take gold :)
My father was a dentist and now he is in early retirement because of acrylate allergy. That stuff is poison, sister.
