No wonder he uses so much product, he wants to cover that up! In my opinion, he looks wonderful just the way he is!

(And that's Adam Lambert, btw, if there still is people around who don't recognize him.)

I didn't even notice the freckles before I read all the comments. All I notices was very pretty eyes and a need to photoshop away the read-eye effect.

Oh? Freckles? He has some.

the "red eyes" effect actually underlines the fact that this in candid, a "real" picture with no photoshopping away his freckles and pores and blemishes and shit, so I don't mind that.

And the freckles thing is so funny because normally you see none, just this smooth skinned, black haired guy who obviously wears foundation. In reality he is strawberry blond, guess how many "do the drapes match the carpet"-jokes I have heard about that? ;)
