I decided to link the art that I made for
sosodirty anyway, since availability is the key and so on.
Note that the links go straight behind the modesty lj-cut!
This was the first one. Pete/Patrick, NC-17, Straightjacket prompt, and you can see that I know more of anatomy than I know about straightjackets. This, this people actually liked. Which was nice, but this was actually the easiest to draw.
A couple of days later, was this. Pete/Patrick, rated 15, fur suits-prompt. It got a few polite comments, which is okay since obviously I had some troubles in grasping the idea of what is supposed to be hot in fur suits.
And the last one was this. Pete/Patrick, rated 15, infantilism prompt. At this stage people were moving on with no commenting, which I totally get, but it's still a bummer because this was the most ambitious and boldest of the pictures. And the decision to move farther from the more realistic style in this particular prompt is totally intentional. But what would they have commented? That it was hot? cute? Well done? Now I'll never know if they were unsettled by it, which was pretty much the idea, or if they just thought the pic wasn't that good.

Date: 2009-02-22 06:51 pm (UTC)I actually commented on the second one, it was my favorite. It was a little odd to me in that I think of Pete as being the furry, which I would assume means he should be in the suit, not Patrick, but that isn't your problem, just mine. The art itself is very good on this one, the only nitpick I have is Pete's hand is a little big for his body.
The art on the third is much more simplistic, so I think people were less likely to comment on it because of that - they don't feel as guilty if it doesn't look like you'd spent days on it. I like the overall composition very much, the arrangement of the bodies and the blankets. What I don't like about it is that they are *both* babies, and the thing I like about this kink is the caretaking aspect. If they are both babies, who takes care of them?

Date: 2009-02-22 07:24 pm (UTC)The reason why Patrick doesn't look like Patrick is that I didn't take the time to figure out how I would morph his body to resemble more like him and less like the reference picture. Yes, I used a reference picture , quelle suprese. Or, actually I had a freeze frame of a porn vid that I glanced time to time. What I regret with not making Patrick look enough like him is that I *like* how he looks, and I don't like the idea that his looks should be "upped" in fics or art to suit better the society's ideal of desirable. but because I didn't use enough time, the pic can be deciphered so that I would have knowingly presented him "better".
It's nice that you liked the second pic. I like it to, except that as an overall it's poorly positioned and I could have use more effort in coloring.
For the third picture, I was first supposed to draw an emulated diaper change scene. Uh, not going to happen. What then? (note that I was in a bit of a hurry in this point.) So I took took one draft originally made when I was trying to figure out the furry picture: In it, Pete was in a furry suit, spooning Patrick. So I took it and actually went with the continuation of the prompt, as the prompt actually was "infantilism, diaper lover". So it's not actually an infantilism pic but a diaper lover pic. I just had forgotten it in time of the submission... As a clue of it being what it actually is can be seen in the absence of pacifiers, ducks or the like. (note that I threw a teddy in the furry pic.) On the other hand, Patrick sucking his thumb kind of contradicts that it wouldn't be an infantilism pic. The absence of the care-giver in the scene doesn't worry me, though; I'm more thinking that they wouldn't be in the stage of acted scenes, yet, but only enjoying a shared fantasy, yet to be sharpened.
