Because I'm a handcrafting weirdo, experiments continue until the moral improves. Here is my experiment with shrinking plastic; two Patricks, the taller, slimmer, smudgy one is the first try, the sturdy one is the final product. The picture is the original sketch, giving out the original scale of the non-hardened work. The better one ended as my key chain.


(I also made a pretty nice "Emmuzka" pendant, but I forgot the letter "k" from it because I'm a moron.)

I hadn't realized shrinking plastic shrinks that much!

Me neither! I thought that it would be about 50%, but it's more like 75%. Meaning that if I want to make anything that it's bigger than a matchstick I have to start with a picture so huge that I have problems wrapping my mind over it.
