I wasn't marching, but I was invited to picnic. It looked like this. The women in blue that look like old fashioned girl scouts are the gay section of Suomen Marttaliitto. Yeah.





Poor picture but this was basically it. Cars and trees. A view from my sis' kitchen window to the upper garden.


What is interesting is that *all* the buildings looked basically like this. What was all ooh and aah for me was just basic stuff there.




The Nuremberg Zoo:








Local store. For Finns, the existence of hard liquors in a grocery store is like, the world's seventh wonder or something.


These are also forbidden in Finland; a tobacco machine. Most of them are changed so that you one can only make purchases with a debit card but it still looks pretty seedy to me.





Meggan the Cat had done the impossible and got even fatter while I was away. She looks like a beached whale, but like, with more hair.










I checked the washing instructions for one of my hats and this was just hilarious...

Meggan looks like she's feeling the heat! Btw, I just realized it's been a year since she was with me! I still remember the little queen, she was so cute. And I think her brother Roope is also getting fatter, even though I try to limit his food.

Megu seems to find the least hot spot in my flat like magic. She is not so little anymore, maybe. I have no sense of what size a "regular" cat should be, since I'm only around either norwegian forest cats or these ginomous house cats.

On the washing instructions: Does it let colour, or shrink, or both? If you wear it and it starts raining, do you end up with red hair and a palm-sized hat on top of it? *curious*

It lets color. It's deep vine red and if I have worn it and gotten all sweaty I'll have to check that the hat hasn't made a red stripe on my forehead. ;)
