I am a Person on Vacation

emmuzkaMy official vacation started today, yay! Celebrated it with lazying around in a fugue state. Serious cleaning/shopping/socializing/gym work will start tomorrow. To sweeten the vacation start, I was also informed of a pay rise :) Now I can say that my higher education truly is worth it.

twindouble, for 30 JUN to 15 JUL. That's my big spending of the summer, the rest of the time I will stay as the cheap ass that I am.
Celebrated the mid summer with a sis, her kids and a friend. We went to Linnanmäki fair and had a great time. I can't go to rides, even in kids rides without nausea and throwing up, so I stayed clear of those. My only ride was a ferris wheel, the first time in my adult life, actually. When we were finally up there high, the friend was like, "Have I ever told you about my fear of height?". And because it was a windy day, our usually stationary buggy started to slowly rock, which fucked up my no-nausea zen. So the friend and I just held each other when the sis, perfectly calm, took photos and dug out more clothes for the kids and such, in 50m or something in the air. :)
I watched SGA501 that leaked, and as a season beginner, it wasn't much. A lot of digging people up, and sneaking around, shooting and flying in space crafts. My favorite moment was the last minute of the episode. We all know who is the next commander, right? I read an interview somewhere where the screenwriters talked about how much drama potential was left unused when all the main characters were such buddy buddy with each other. That might have been good in the first season, when they were all alone against aliens, just trying to stay alive, but now some disobedience drama will come handy, thinks me.
