I got a new stamp catalog from the post to my work place since I have ordered stamps with our own company logo last year. Usually I just buy "whatever" for myself to use in international craft swaps and such. Like, ugly easter stamps in the middle of summer, or stamps with kids playing football or something.

But I will definitely buy a load of these, enough to last the whole year! Or frame one and put in in my kitchen wall art gallery.

The problem is that if I bought those stamps, I would have a hard time actually using them, because they're too cute. My hoarding instinct would take over. *grabbyhands*

I plan to buy one extra for keeps. It would cost only 4,50 to have one just because of the pretty :)

Is that like 4 dollars and 50 cents in US Currency? I think it's a really cool stamp. I collect US stamps when they have specials. They usually have them on a sheet with like 20 stamps and I just buy the sheet and keep it.

That's 4,50 €, meaning about ten dollars in current rate. I think that I will be buying one for keeps even when I don't collect. Of course there is a threat that I will use them when I have a dire need for a stamp ;)

Most of the collector stamps in the US are the current first class rate which is now 41cents. They come on a sheet with 15 or 20 on a sheet. Here is a pic of the star wars I have:

Five first class stamps. I thought there were six but actually there is no stamp where the long-footed men are.
