emmuzkaI went to a doctor because I felt like one of my eyes would be popping out of my head in any minute. Scary. It turned out that after a cold (which I had ignored) a big clump of snot had stayed in my sinuses (which I hadn't noticed) and that was they cause of the pressure. According to the doctor "that stuff is pretty much solid at this point". Got a day and a half of sick leave, four different meds (and when did flu meds cost over fifty euros, anyway?) and now I'm sitting at home and trying to do something productive. Is downloading old "Project Catwalk" episodes productive?
There were eight people murdered in the Finland school shooting yesterday. The shooter himself was the ninth to die. I feel bad, not only for them, but personally. I totally understand the need to make this a social, shared experiment, since it truly helps. I see now why people with no involvement to the actual crisis can feel the need to seek help for their emotional turmoil.
