I am a part of Swap-Bot community. The idea is to bring together people to swap hand crafts, surprises, artist trading cards and whatever we come up with. I partook a swap where you will send a small amount of candy and a surprise based on your partner's profile. In the profiles people tell about themselves and give hints of their likes and dislakes.

I love and collect kawaii plush animals from brands like Sanrio and San-x and I also love kawaii plush animal keychains.

I really like the new Super Cute Hello Kitty line at the store Hot Topic..things I don't have: wallets..id (card) holders..deery lou items..hello kitty hair barrettes and accessories..keychains.

I can always use Kawaii hardcover journals (blank or lined paper) from brands like San-X with cute characters on them. I keep track of my swaps in them:)

I have recently fallen in love with the San-X character KERORI..he is a cute little frog. I would love anything with him on it especially plush items;)

I love anything with food items with faces..especially desserts like pudding, donuts, cupcakes, cookies. I love items with desserts on them:) These don't have to be Japanese items..I like both kawaii and non-kawaii non-edible food items.

I love the voodoo baby doll keychains. www.vdbaby.com I think they also sell them at Hot Topic I love the Hell Kitty one especially but I don't have any of them so any you could get me would be great:)

I love the San-X Character Mamegoma (the seal)especially plush items or bags of any kind:)

I love and collect Hello Kitty goth/lolita/punk items and Hawaii (tan) Hello Kitty items

I collect anything from the brand Tokidoki..including toys..jewelry...bags..stickers..post cards..makeup...and tees..(size M in tees)

I collect kawaii stamp sets from brands like Sanrio/q-lia/crux and Kamio

I love Gloomy Bear and don't have anything with him on it so I would be happy to receive that!

I enjoy getting things that are useful like wallets/coin purses/ makeup bags/tote bags/tin banks/pen/pencil holders/kawaii jewelry boxes/plastic kawaii or cute baskets

I collect bento boxes from brands like Sanrio/San-X/Crux/Q-Lia..Kuromi..Hello Kitty..and I love ones with cute animals on them or polka dots

I like anything with the characters Sanrio Sugarbunnies that isn't stationery related.

I love Tarina Tarantino Hello Kitty items especially the keychains

I also collect mechanical pens and pencils with figures on top of them or dangling charms.

I collect cram cream items especially wash cloths..plastic trays and makeup bags.

I would love to get a Tenorikuma plushie and also anything KUROMI that isn't stationery related.

I would love to have an amigurumi keychain..to hang on my bag. I love those cute things and don't have any.

I would love some handmade kawaii address labels..that would be awesome!;)

I like lotions/shower gels/body spray and lip balms from Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works. Fave flavors:pear, grape, mango, cotton candy, strawberry, fruit punch. I also like hand soap in a bottle from either store and anti-bacterial gels.

I like small barrettes (not kid sized) just small ones.

I like cute hairbrushes and combs (wide-toothed)

I like cute band-aids

I like WIDE deco tapes

I like cute/pretty wrapping paper

I have a 4 year old dachshund named Tinkerbell. She loves getting gifts too:) She wears a size SMALL in collars and loves them in pretty pink colors and designs and needs a retractable leash. She also loves squeaky balls and squeaky plush toys. Her Mommy loves things with dachshunds on them.

I like designer perfume samples

I love kawaii key caps (key covers)and kawaii keychains especially Sanrio and San-X.

I like most things from the store Sephora including makeup bags and brushes..small cosmetic items etc, lip gloss, lotion, shower gel from there.

I like Yankee Candle or Bath and Body Works plug in home air freshners or re-fills or car freshners.

I like cute post-it notes

If you live in a town that only has like a Wal-Mart to shop in..here are some other ideas. I like celebrity gossip magazines like Star..US Weekly..INTOUCH.

FOR HALLOWEEN: I WOULD LOVE ANYTHING HALLOWEEN WITH SANRIO CHARACTERS ON IT LIKE HALLOWEEN HELLO KITTY..KUROMI..MY MELODY..ETC I also like cute ghosts..witches..pumpkins.

I like salted almonds or dry roasted peanuts. I like Hershey bars with peanut butter..hershey bars with brownie bits..cookies and cream hershey bars. I want to try the new MILKY WAY bars with mint. I love pumpkin shaped Reese Cups!! I love chocolate chips in unique flavors like mint swirl or white chocolate and I love peanut butter chips. I like whatchamacallits, 100 grand bars. I love fruit flavored bubblegum and any type of sugarfree gum...except bubblegum flavor. I LOVE fruit roll-ups...and sour and non-sour gummy candy from the US (sour gummy cherry sharks, air-heads, air-heads rainbow sour belts, sour patch kids connectors,fruit twizzlers, sour punch straws, sweet-tart rope, sour patch kids in any variety). I also like fruity cereals. I love cereal straws in any flavor.

Please don't send Hello Kitty or Japanese candies. I have an entire basket full of them at the moment.

I am allergic to cigarette smoke and the smell of mothballs. PLEASE don't send me USED items..JUNK..or things on my dislikes list.


I want to send her ROCKS. Or better, trash. From the bottom of my carbage bin. She wrote a shopping list! Brand items only! And no this and that, and she effectively condemned all handcraft items to be trash. If one uses the Swap-Bot to only collect certain items, maybe one shouldn't sign in in such general swaps! None of these items are even sold in Finland! I will probably just send her the hair pins or something. Otherwise there will be bad feedback ahead. Argh!

I've been mad ever since I read your reply to my comment: I'm bummed about someone's idea of gaining new, moderately expensive brand products by listing them on a swapping site focusing on hand crafting. I agree, oh do I ever agree! I, as a dedicated handicrafts-person, find that list of her's insulting. It's like joining the group just to say Fuck You, Handicrafters! I would give her bad feedback, and not just because she seems to be breaking against the rules of the game.

... cookies and cream hershey bars.... Not only is this a shopping list, it is an America-centered shopping list, as if she didn't realise there are other nations represented on the list, or doesn't care. I'm seriously embarrased and pissed of, and I'm distantly related to Milton Hershey of Hershey Chocolate! I second the sugarfree salmiakki gum. She'll never know what hit her. Hah!

I'm actually kind of enjoying this...

I opened a thread in swap-bot's discussion forum with, like "what do you think about this? Too strict, no?" and got about zillion answers with "Whoa!". Except one girl who was like "You are way out of line! How would you fell if someone would bash you!?". She even send me a private message where she tried to make me feel guilty. I was like, peple should know that everything they post on the ned will be subjected to ridicule, no, I won't edit my message, she can ban me from her future swaps if she likes." Want to bet that this dismayed reader will inform the user tvstar about my writing in the forum? Hm?

But she (and bimbette tvstar) are obviously in the minority. Small, but obnoxious minority. I'd say tough shit. If you get one bad rating, does that really matter? I mean, I'm assuming your over all rating is very high, just because that's the kind of person you are, and I've seen some of the swap items you've done.
