Real Life is seriously taking time from me. I would like to read McShep_Match stories all day, but alas, that's not in the cards.

Yesterday I did my first gig as my aunt’s new cleaning lady. I get well paid and all, but I don’t know if I would bother if she wouldn’t be a relative. Because gasp, physical work! Obviously I’m way too good on sitting on my ass when three straight hours of physical work gets me all achy. Or, maybe I just don’t clean enough at home. Other relatives want to enjoy my cleaning services?

On the weekend I was invited to check out yet another relative’s premises, this time married-to-the-family kind of old folks. They are selling their old place and wondered if I would like to have some furniture to my new home. Would I like this 70s old couch and that 80s glass table? Urh, no thanks, too big, just plain too ugly… Until we checked out the attic. Oh my! And old giant antique chest, an antique dresser, a small pharmacist cabin.. Yay! All of them didn’t fit to the car but I tried to make sure that they would be saved for later. I hate the situations when some old thing is promised and then just thrown away because it wasn’t understood that the thing would have had a great value to the receiver, just because the thing wasn’t valuable to the original owner.

I will write the final papers on the flat on 29th. (Meaning moving a huge chunk of money) Or that’s the plan. The realtor tries to conveniently “forget” that I’m supposed to physically check the flat first to see that it’s really empty and in the same condition as when it was when the original purchase papers were signed. I guess that it really hasn’t sunk in yet that I have no intention to sign those papers if I can’t see the flat first. Or, at least I won’t sign those papers *right then*. The sellers want to sell the flat to me a week before the actual date in the original agreement, so on principle, I won’t have to transfer the money to them before that. So either let me see that flat or let’s meet again on a later date.
