My cellphone is pretty much dying on my hands, so I inquired what kind of company phone could I have. The first answer was "Go out and buy a phone, not too expensive, not too cheap." I went and did just that, got this small Nokia, something-something Classic, with fast email, camera and music options. And then they said, sorry, no Nokia, you will have to take it back. Wtf?

It seems like the only phone that our IT people (situated in a different country than us) are comfortable with is this disgusting Microsoft Windows-compatible phone, HTC MTeoR . (No, I haven't heard about it ever, either.) Urgh. It's big, it's black, it's manly. It has a crappy camera and all the blue tooth goodies won't help since my Mac will *hate* it. And no radio. And it's either that or nothing. I hate it already. But that leads to another question altogether; Do I have the right to hate a free phone?

Anyway. Every time I see something funny or crazy I feel like I should take a picture about it and send it to Darkroastedblend.com or something. Only that I have no camera on my phone and the possibilities that my next phone and my current computer would ever match is getting pretty slim.

I haven't actually received it yet, since they have to buy it first and then put all the company security settings an stuff in and then send it to Finland. And all this so I could read my e-mail outside work if I wanted. Like, its' not that I could take remote work days, anyway.
