I got my net cut off because I unintentionally used 90% of all the bandwidth coming out of the house. Oops? In the process I learned that my ultra cheap, 7 eur/month connection is a whopping 400kb/s in and 50kb/s out *for the whole building*. So, there will be no file sharing from now on. I would get a private connection but as I will be moving out anyway, I'll just have to live with this.

It has been a lousy work week and even if there hasn't been that much like, major stress, my tolerance against little problems is all time low.

If you use a decent file sharing program, you can set the maximum bandwidth for down- and uploads, so that it won't hog all the bandwidth. It'll be slow, but at least you wouldn't have to give up completely.

And for that price and total capacity, I'm afraid your building has been ripped off...
