I already decided to buy a permanent lj account when they'll come on sale in next month. But now I'm reconsidering. In a few years all this could be possible:
- all sex-related and adult-related material is banned
- all anonymous posting is banned. Writers are required to write with their real names and provide an electronic id, for example through PayPal.
- pre-moderation of comments is required by law.
- posting of all copyrighted material is banned.
Within the next 5-7 years, this is a perfectly possible scenario. I hope that it will never come to that.

But then, of course, I could set my blog to my own server. That would be, if not inpossible, at least very inconvenient to sue.
