emmuzkaI had a full and nice weekend :) The weekend started with a small party in the workplace, in the honor of a person leaving the company. As it happened, they also wanted to remember my 30 year milestone (which went unnoticed because the handy location of coming right after a national holiday) and I got a gift card to IKEA as a present! O_O How small gestures can make a person feel appreciated :)

sua_lay, tvillingar and later, ladyria. Also made a detour to lorem's birthday party on Saturday. The theme was a pizza potluck, with the house providing the crusts and everyone bringing stuffings to a one pizza. That of course lead to, outside the regular salami-and-mushrooms, to more inventive concoctions like feta-rucola-honey melon :)
Me: ..?
Me: ..! there is honey melon in my pizza!
People: Are you allergic?!
Me: ..no, I'm just upset about it.
From the party I jumped back to the slashmeet and we continued the free program of "I think that I have read that fic". Good times.
now it's monday and I'm unnaturally perky. It must be true that being "away" for the whole weekend (I was a way! I went to East-Helsinki!) is a lot more refreshing than just sitting on your ass.
P.S. I really must set up my TV. I'm loosing the shame desecration episodes on Finnish Idol
