Jul. 31st, 2008 03:33 pmHoo! When I was into Nsync fandom, I used to read these really blood-thirsty rape-murder-and-gore -fics from one particular author. The fics weren't particularly good as fics but not badfics either. But they were really honest in the way that the author laid out her kinks for all the world to see and fuck you the do-no-harm fandom girlies. I'm not into rape-and-mutilation perse, but I'm a junkie for emotional distress, so whatever gets me there. Eventually the web page disappeared and I forgot the whole thing.
But! Last night I accidentally found her again (or better, her untagged, masterlist-lacking livejournal. No, I'm not going to link it here). And guess what's she into now? My chemical Romance. Aand, then I stayed up until half past four a.m. reading her almost-formulaic creation of angst. Food times. I just couldn't stop. (As a bonus, I managed to fuck up my internal clock, just nicely for my work start again on monday.)
And, she has started a sequel. (a 1/? of which you can already say "oh! a spousal abuse fic!" might not be a good sign of quality, but damn if I'm not already waiting an update.) Now I have a slight problem as I don't want to friend her as she seems like a slightly irritating person ("I hate my job, but look how much they pay me!") and I don't know if I'll even comment her fics in the future ("I have nothing nice to say about this chapter but that I'm reading your fic like mad"?). Maybe I'll just bookmark her and will check her journal once a month or something.
On a totally unrelated issues, I seem to have developed an aversion for grocery shopping. I just don't do it. Now I'm down to salted peanuts, canned tuna and expired instant coffee. The freezer is empty sans ice cubes. So are the cupboards. No meat, no vegetables, milk, butter, canned goods or preserves of any kind. The level of cat food isn't looking so great either. When that runs out, I'm doomed to shop.
