I like the idea of bejeweled mobile phones. Since eBay didn’t sell any good looking face plates for my obscure Nokia model, I looked out for the alternatives and decided on the do-it-yourself –method. I bought a buch of cheap-looking “crystals” (there simply wasn’t any good quality stones anywhere) and some super glue. Thought that my phone couldn’t look any uglier than it was, so waht the hell, and started working.

I was wrong. The phone *could* look even uglier. I was stupid and forgot to tape the phone’s screen shut before starting, and now it’s smeared with glue permanently. As there wasn’t a way to control the disposing of the glue evenly enough, there are glue smears all over the phone. I almost glued the phone’s buttons together!

I have to take a picture of my renewed phone when I have the chance. It’s looking pretty hilarious with it’s new pre-teen attitude, like some twelve year old would have crafted it – with her toes.

Hmm.. What would be my chances to get a new phone from work? It might be too shameful to use the one I got in public ;)

Just show the one you have now to your boss, and you'll get a brand new phone right away... :)

I have troubles keeping it on the table, I can't show it to my boss before my contract is leagalized..

I might just buy a new boring face plate from eBay..

Are you sure that you haven't glued your phone to a point where you can not change the plates anymore?

Next time, use stickers, not glue...

Your contract is valid or legal if you prefer that word. Legal - legalized. Anyway, since a written contract i easier to prove to exist, we strongly prefer written ones.
