One of the persons that are very dear to me has now big problems in her life. It causes me to worry, so, I can't promise any fun happy lj entries right now. The real life is kinda distracting.

Anyway. The fan fic book is clearing out, slowly. There is still a month left to my self-appointed deadline for the first editing round. I will have a chat at this friday about wether of not I will continue my summer job in the firm. If I'll get it, it would mean a real move to the city, not only living out of a suitcase like I'm doing now. On the other hand, returning to Turku would mean 1)keeping dear friendships closer, 2)the nerve calming state of unemployment and 3)the nerve wrecking state of job hunting.

I never realised that surfing the net and keeping my eyes open for the new popular culture is work. Now that I don't have the time for that work, but just time to read my lj friends list maybe once a day and read some hastily downloaded fics in weekends, I'm feeling that I'm missing something. (And you try the exercise of "you have twenty minutes to download as much fic as you dare, and no bookmarks!" and find out how much mediocre stuff there are. And good stuff that just isn't for you.)

Ah, memories (of hell). But this is why you have flist. Name your fandom/fic type and I'm sure we can come up with few good recs every now and then. And, remember to use sga_newsletter and such, you can always delete later.
