Happy New Year everybody!

Happy New Year everybody! One of my sisters invited me to celebrate the new year with them in a short-short notice. But no worries, just a call to my cat-sitter and the thing was a go. So I ended in Helsinki, where we celebrated with another family with small children. Lots of kids and lots of putting-kids-to-sleep-circus, plus nice conversations, good food and excellent champagne.

My sister's spouse gave me a external cd-burner for my mac computer, yay yay! :) *jumps up and down* No more deleting! Now I could maybe start thinking more seriously about making fanvids. Maybe.

We also had the time to make extremely nice wall hangings out of decorative and retro Marimekko fabrics and industrial strenght cardboard. Got some useful ideas for my own hypothetical home.

ps--you are no longer sick? want to have that movie night you were talking about soon? at least, not sure when chi and sugar are back, but my school starts next monday.

That soon? I'm all for the movie night. Maybe next friday or so? If Chi and Sugar are back then, great. If not, we have a couple of days to move the date.

Depending of how many people are coming, we could even meet at my place, as small as it is, because I don't know how pleasurable it would be to watch the movie from a computer monitor.

that would be good indeed. i have almost given up on getting our tv setup fixed. i just don't know anything about the technology myself and will just have to wait for wax to find out what she needs to be able to tell her brother so he can diagnose it.

late this week works for me, if only chi and sugar are back by then.
