I was going to say the exact same thing! But I wasn't sure you called them same thing... I had those as little plastic figures, when I was little. Oh how I loved them, I wanted one of each! *g*
I loved the animation when I was little! European kids animation as it's best ;) I don't even remember the Barbababas' names but the one fuzzy one was my favorite.
Wasn't the fuzzy one called "Barba-Pörrö" in Finnish? I remember that I loved him (?) the most, too. Probably because he was the most convincing horse, since he was fuzzy. :)
Hey! You are the one from Finland and you had asked about Helsinki? The other night Jay Leno had a "Battle of the All Star Jaywalk" In case you aren't familiar, Jay walks down the streets of LA and finds people that are really stupid and then brings 3 of them on the show for a question contest. One of the questions he asked was "What is Helsinki?" One person said it was a hell sink. The other thought it was some kind of horror film. Nobody got it right. He also asked what you call someone from Findland. Someone did come up with finnish for this one.
Heheh! People usually recognize Sweden, but Finland or Helsinki? Not so much! I didn't know about the Jay Leno thing, it's usually Conan O'Brian who fangirls Finland.
Before Finland joined the European Union, our country code was SF and not FIN as it is now. Guess how many times the foreigners thought that it meant "Soviet Finland" and not "Suomi - Finland"? (Suomi means Finland in Finnish)
