  • LJ is working! Yay! When I started on my computer this morning, I found out that on the 8 tabs that I have left open the previous night six were lj based. I didn't notice how much it would affect my browsing if the lj-pages would be enabled.

  • [livejournal.com profile] anglepoiselamp, [livejournal.com profile] shiroi_chi, [livejournal.com profile] cimorene111 and I had a movie night yesterday. The first movie was Withnail & I, which was supposed to be very squee!!able and teh gay but in actuality it was boring as hell and way too artsy for me. At least now I can say that I have watched it, the same as with the Arabian Lawrence. Next one was the Nomi Song, which was a document of a New wave singer in America in the early seventies, who was (maybe) in the verge of a breakthrough, but then he died, the end. It's weird that there is so little in the net about Klaus nomi, one of the strangest singers of that time.

Also, we watched a double episode of new Doctor Who. Pretty nice, in a campy way. Only in Britain a children's series can have a bisexual sidekick. (wel, not that they would say it aloud, but come on, he slapped another guy's ass!) I have to look up the rest of the series, and maybe some fanfic as well.

  • My comic is doing poorly. Have to make a shitload of pages tomorrow.

  • Saw Harry Potter on wednesday. It was really good, not "The best movie evah!!!!11!", but still worth watching twice. They had shortened the story in all the right places and the teen angst was actually enjoyable. Sadly, Voldemort wasn't scary at all but really hilarious and gay. Also, he looked just like the superhero "Morph" from Marvel Comic's "Age of the Apocalypse" storyline.

Oh, I meant to ask yesterday, but I was pretty much out of it, so, yeah. Apparently you haven't watched Doctor Who yet, then? I did give it to you, or have I been hallucinating that, too...?

Good luck with the fic. I think I gave up maybe too easily, but you wouldn't believe the drivel the fandom produces. Well, maybe you would. We've all been there with one fandom or other.

Yes, you did loan it for me, but even with my all good intentions, I haven't watched it yet. And there is still the latest Law&Order, CSI and the Pilot of Supernatural waiting in my hard drive... But I will watch Dr.Who soon!
