Harry Potter Spoilers! Beware!
Jul. 9th, 2003 09:50 am**** Contains spoilers for Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix********
Okay: The whole idea of the book was that Voldemort wanted to hear that prophesy and only ones that could take it down and listen it were himself or Harry. Okay. But: When the kids were in the corridor where Voldemort had lured them, somebody took some shelves down. A couple of the prophesy spheres fell, broke and the kids could hear the prophesies they held. Like, what? If there was a loophole that abled people to hear the prophesies if the spheres *fell* down and were not *taken* down, then why on earth Voldemort couldn't just get one of his minions to go to the corridor, smash the shelves and listen the prophesy? Ms. Rowling made a mistake when she made two spheres to be broken just to show to the reader what they were. Kind of embarrassing, eh?
