  • I'm doing the National Graphic novel Writing Month thingy and that sure consumes time. The first four pages took almost seven hours. My original goal was two pages a day for a month or until the story is finished within the limits of 50-80 pages but now I have to downgrade to one page a day and the limits of 30-60 pages. Still, I hopeful with this. there is still the personal unfairness-factor; When I put my one and only Atlantis fic to Wraithbait archive for some instant gratification, I got over 600 reads in two days. That fic took me less than three hours to write. And here I am, putting hours and hours for something that will have something like two readers. Oh joy.

  • Speaking of joy: Ikea will place a store to Raisio, near my city! I'm a Ikea fangirl. Ikea, the home of happiness! When you visit there, you either go gay or get pregnant. I will take two years before the store opens so it's not where I'm going to buy my next first set of furniture, but! Ikea! *bounce bounce*

I totally misread that as National Geographic and went all 'huh'?

When you visit there, you either go gay or get pregnant.

So, would this be the side effect only with Raisio Ikea since I've visited the ones in Espoo and Vantaa several times over the years and have yet to turn even bi.

For short, that would be NaGraNoWriMo!

The gay/pregnant thing comes from 1) Queer eyr for a straight guy, where they *always* have something from Ikea, and 2) the fact that everyone seems to be pregnant in ikea so we made a joke about Ikea impregnating people ;)

I see. You're right, there seems to be an inordinate amount of pregnant women wandering around every time I visit Ikea.
