If you didn't remember that you had them, can you really miss them?

With a heavy heart, I decided to sell all a significant part of my old comics. I haven't even read them for five years, and still it feels weird to give them up. I really couldn't make myself to part with X-men, X-factor, X-force, Generation X, Kalma and thriller, plus some special issues like Wolverine & Kitty Pryde special, but everything else goes; Excalibur, Fantastic Four, Ghostrider, Spiderman, Punisher, Thor, Avengers, Hellblazer, Spawn, Witchblade, Batman, Ronin, Hulk and so on. I don't dare to imagine how much money I have put in these over ten years ago. Let's hope that some of them have gained value, since even listing them in eBay and huuto.net will be a bitch.

Well, it still leaves me with my 200 graphic novels, so not completely depleted, here.

On the other things: My lj paid account is running out in a couple of days. Should I renew it? Really, the only feature that I have any use of is the multitude of icons. So, should I

a) renew it! And buy the extra 85 icon slots while you'r on it! I know that you don't have even one BsB or SGA icons and that sucks. I know you want it!

or

b) Let it go! Why pay for something that you can get free? Livejournal is now such a big company that they don't need your contribution to run things, they just made up a great way to cash on iconsluts. You don't have the know-how to customize your lj anyway, so that would be money wasted.

(And I'm not whining for anyone to pay it for me, I'm just pondering.)

...I'm going to need therapy now. Marvel swimsuit issues. I'm imagining Spiderman's bathing suit line and it's not a pretty thing. God knows why I think Spiderman would have a fashion collection, but, yeah.

I'm an icon whore, so you probably shouldn't ask me. I also love making polls and the LJ picture storage space is important for me because I don't have a website where I could host my pictures. But you do have, so that's different.

I renewed mine but without extra icon space since I'm not even using the 15 slots I have now. But I use the site so much that it feels good to pay for it.
