Aug. 13th, 2005 09:22 amThere are at least three kinds of dreams that all women share, I think. My guess is you have all experienced these:
1) you suddenly remember that you have a pet (or a child) on your responsibility and where is it and when was the last time you fed it?! Angst ensues.
2) You have a terrible need to use a bathroom and when/if you find it it's horrendously dirty, public or otherwise unaccessible or uncomfortable. Angst ensues.
3) You have semi-public sex with someone and you just go with it because otherwise a)other people would notice and b) the other might, you know, stop. (Hopefully) orgasm ensues.
Other suggestions?

Arrgh! *g*But yes, familiar with (different variations) of all the dreams on your list, as well as the baby one. (Let's just hope no one reads MPREG to learn about pregnancy and looking after babies. A few minor biological facts, for example, tend to be twisted by default because, well, MPREG.)
I'm sure there are a dozen other "universal" dreams that women have in common, but I can't think of one right now.

Date: 2005-08-13 12:16 pm (UTC)#2: YES. I'm so glad to hear it's not just me who has this dream. It's one of my least favourite nightmares, maybe because I'm so germphobic. I get these a lot when I'm distressed/confused with my life.
#3: Never had one of these, alas. :P

Before I got married (I was well over 30 by then) I often had a dream that I was getting married, but I never saw the face of the fiance. That was reeeaally annoying. And I have never heard that single men have dreams about their future weddings.
I have nightmares and dreams almost every night, but think most of them are common among women and men. Or then they are not common among any group of people. Especially my nightmares are Weird! But then again my imagination runs wild also during daytime.
