I was looking for unused sketch bads and found my old scribblings. I scanned them for future reference and just because they are in the net now, I must post them here, right?

These are really old, I had just reached my adulthood when I made these. It's kind of sad to think that some of these pictures are almost ten years old and it seems like I haven't developed at all since then. Time to take some drawing courses.. Isn't that what all the unemployed do?

This is from 1996, so I was 17 when I made this. God I'm old!


No idea who he is supposed to be but motorcycles on the background are cool.

My cat period. This I have left unfinished since the head is too small and there is nothing to do to make it better.






This is Meggan, the cat that I have now. As you can see, she was much slimmer when young ;)







I used to have more of these, but I gave them away to the owners of the cats pictured.

And that's it. Draw, woman! These would make a lousy portfolio. Maybe I should just use my Nsync fan art for that?

Tell me about it. My parents made me go to a Chinese calligraphy course for a year when I was younger, and hooboy.

Heh, few years ago I could have given you the links to at least four other x-men/x-files crossovers...without even searching.
Oh, happy days when the x-men had good fanfic (or I was too young to know any better.:)

I was just looking yesterday! But their fall program wasn't out yet, and last year... it wasn't much. At all. I was whining to Sugar about how back in Kouvola, it's a given that there'll be at least one group for drawing with live models, one for oil painting, one for watercolors, two different for, er, etchings and woodcuttings and stuff... for a smallish town, the kansalaisopisto is amazing. I really want to take up some art this fall, but I dunno. I'll have to find something that doesn't give me huge stress, such as painting anything that isn't a wall does.

I was thinking about live nude model drawing, because it's fun. Also, you don't have to twiddle your thubs just because you finished a half hour earlier than the rest of the class ;) If there is classes, want to come with?

I'll think about it! Last time I took one of those I dropped out by March but I bet having someone to egg me on when I feel like sitting home pitying myself for being the suckiest person to ever abuse a pencil or a piece of charcoal would solve that problem. Wow, nice run-on sentence. But yeah, I think I like the idea!

My friend used to pose as a nude model from time to time. Way to be a little exhibitionistic and earn money the same time. She got some of the works from the students and now her bedroom is full of pretty good portraits of her.
