When Meggan met Hillo

This is Hillo (=Jam) She is a pure bred abyssinian with the most stupid cat name in the world. (and, imho, it sounds vaguely obscene to my ears) She came to be my house guest for a few weeks.


This is Meggan, my cat. she is a 1/4 persian, which kinda shows. (No, she is not related to Satan in any way) At first, she was all "Whaat? Another cat? Here?"


Hillo found a place in the bookshelf. She is a fan of high places.


Meggan saw it best to make a situation assessment under the bed.


Hillo has to finally admit that yes, there is another cat in the house.


Mjmurh?


Meggan tries to be threatening. (she is shedding because of the heat and I had to cut some clumps off with scissors, the bald spot is because of that.)

*ears backwards*


After that situation solved itself by... not solving itself, it was time for Hillo to figure out how to get high(er) in this joint.

Coda: Meggan rules the ground, Hillo rules the air space. When someone needs to eat or use the litter, exceptions can be made.

So cute. Unless Hillo (which is the stupidest cat name ever, even worse than my Tollo) dropped half the stuff from your bookcase. Then it was just annoying. :D

Hillo is brobably a shortening of her pure breed name. Which doesn't make it any less stupid. with the pure breed names, you usually end with the names like Jokke, Eeski, Iikku, Nuppu and the like.

Nope. She tried to lick my toes at some point, though. (eww) Usually Meggan sleeps on my bed with me, but so far, neither one has tried it after she came. That would probably cause the ultimate confrontation..

=) My cat keeps trying to get in the fridge - either to get at food or to escape the hot weather. He's been rather lazy lately and I'm not sure if it's due to the heat or if he's just less bouncy after neutering.

Hillo is the strangest cat I've ever met. When I went over to Chi's place, Hillo wanted to headbutt us both a million times over. It was totally hyperactive and uncatlike. I wonder if what it needed was another cat to show it how to be properly serious and catlike.. ;)
