Only you Finnish people get this, but: For my B.A, I was asked to translate the word "fan fiction". Okay, that's reasonable. It's now "fanifiktio". But get this: Because of the translation, I was required to translate "Real people fiction", too! With what? "oikea-ihmis-fiktio"? "Fiktio oikeista ihmisistä"? "Julkisuuden-henkilö-fiktio"? And the winner is, ta dah: "Julkkisfiktio"! Oh my fuckin' god! And I'm supposed to use it with a straight face!

Hee! "Julkkisfiktio". You know, I've always wondered about words like "fanfiction" or "slash" (and "precum" *has a coughing fit*) because we simply don't have any equivalents for them. Or didn't have. Because now we can just talk about "julkkisfiktio"! Not.
