I need more BsB to rec but looking them always make sink in these awful Mary Sues or otherwise kind of bad writing. I pondered over weather or not to recommend Swollen Issues: http://www.angelfire.com/band2/backstreetfics/stories.html The subject (cancer) fits, but the characterization sucks: All the Boys act like complete morons. Nick knows that something is wrong with him but he keeps it secret. When they all found out one by one after like a hundred chapters, I have already lost my mind. All the others are idiots and tease Nick for being fat/sleeping/looking like shit and Nick just endures, never mind that he could make them stop by just telling that he's sick. In this story, peoples actions have no logic whatsoever.
