Some new fan art. I wasn't on the roll so these aren't very good, but as an attention whore I am, I post them anyway. No self respect in the form of self cencoring I have hardly at all. :)


First I warm up my audience (what audience?) by this:



For demonstration: This is a version a. It took me hours to make, and the faces still looke like ass. Not a joy to make.


This is the version b, the anime style version. It took only about 20 minutes to make. It was fun to make but since it isn't my best work, I sacrificed it for practicing my coloring skills, witch frankly, suck. Plus, I forgot to color Lance's eyes so he looks really freaky. Oh well.

and finally, a sketch of my sisters kid, Isla. the likeness isn't good enough, but as a generic picture of a baby it passes well.

Hey, what's with the modesty? :) Besides, what else is LiveJournal than attention whoring? I like the pictures: the first one's absolutely adorable and the second one's just fine as well. And hey, Lance's eyes look freaky in *photographs*, so.

Well, I like to think that I have this audience now for my pics. (maybe I even have, since I got comments from lj surfers too, from time to time) and I feel that I have to "deliver", even when I'm not completely satisfied myself.

Oh, what a crap. I just post almost every finished pic I make because it makes me feel good. If I really think something is crap, I don't post it. I just have this need to tell everyone that I do regcognize the faults in some of my pics.

As someone who starts every other sentence with "I know this is stupid/crap/wrong but..." I know where you're coming from all too well. But yeah, I think one of the good things about LiveJournal is that it is, indeed, a journal of sorts and there isn't as strong a need for self-censorship. *loses track of what self is trying to say* Erm, yeah.
