emmuzkaI'm getting an M from by B.A. I'm slightly disappointed. It was from a new, contemporary topic and the writing style was good, but I guess it wasn't *that* scientific. Media studies doesn't keep information gathering by interviewing and net surveying in that high regard. The only not-so-great thing that I can see myself was the reporting of my internet survey, but they said they didn't need the pie charts, dammit! Oh well. I worked on it for two years, but it's not like it would have been hard to do. It was never an obstacle for me. I rather take an M and a fun writing process than an E and nightmares.
On the more fannish matters, some idiot felt JC up yesterday in the concert. He was leaning to touch the hands of the crowd, but some inventive fan didn't reach for his hand but his crotch. The security didn't even throw her out, somebody heard her bragging to her friends after the concert that she felt JC's dick. That is just wrong! Hey, let's violate the man, just because we can! I like to think that when we (the mature fans) objectify JC, it's a game. a pretend. Somebody obviously confused reality and fantasy for each other and JC got his physical integrity violated. Who on earth would think crabbing a mans nuts would be anything but a crime? He is an entertainer and that partially includes "selling his body", but to look only, not to touch! Sheesh!
