It seems like my experiment in ordering-things-with-visa-electron will suffer a sad death. My payment was declined for no obvious reason. Amazon UK is not so keen on explaining anything, but I figured out that even if the store usually accepts visa electron, it only accepts it for that particular store. If I want to order anything from, lets say, originally from USA, I have to buy it from somebody else, but via Amazon.uk. They call it a "Marketplace". I call it a "Rip off". The actual seller, dvd-connection.com, is not interested in accepting my money. I guess us visa electron-owners are still no good no trust worthy people in some regions of the world.
