jenfromjersey . The show went on normally, but in the end it got really freaky. This girl called and and started to dis joey from complaining in a earlier show of being broke. she got so worked up and said that in the amount of money she spent on Nsync stuff she could pay two semesters etc. Joey tried to explain the he felt *relatively* poor and he worked his butt off in universal when he was younger and that he bought his first car with his own money when he was 20, that his fiance had a car before him. This went on and on and one other of the shows' hosts tried to make them settle down. They had to go to a commercial break and joey talked with the girl one on one in the meantime. They didn't even make the traditional ending song because they didn't have the time.
Then i checked the lj site again and there was this girl,bad_jew (go see her lj, she's got the freakest background pic ever! Janet, Justin, duct tape and 4 piercings.) asking somebody to AIM her the mp3 because her download didn't work, she said that she was the girl in the end. I was like, really? And send her a message. She was online. I didn't manage to send her the mp3 because of my firewall problem, but I did ask her things. she told me that off air they talked like this: "Not sure if it was on the air or not, but he kept telling me how much he loved me over and over." "I'm like...Thanks?" "I wanted to be like "Hey, don't kiss my ass...I didn't go to nsync concerts for YOU." "But I didn't, because I'm nice." "and he seems like a decent guy, when not obnoxiously retarded."
"They hung up on me by mistake." "And I was like...WTF?" "And then they called back." "And Joey was like "I'm not really mad at you. I didn't hang up on you purposely! It was all Kid!". (reprinted without her permission, but hey, I was chatting, too.)
It's just really weird to talk to somebody who doesn't swoon over them right away. But, also, she said she was 19, and what Joey was doing at 19? Working full time at Universal. No fame.
and hey! I got (almost) mentioned! they said that they had also e-mails from international listeners and mentioned UK and Finland. I was the Finland! Yay!
