emmuzkaI decided that the first time I bump into "?!", or worse, (?!?!!!) in a fic, I stop reading. Do the authors really think that they get their message better through by bad grammar? "?" means question, "!" means yelling, so what "?!" means? A yelling question? Can't they just write that "He questioned anxiously?"
Other thing: Scream and yell isn't the same thing. I hate that some authors use only "scream". For example: "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" He screamed. What? Is he in pain? Men seldom scream, they yell. Or is this a too little a thing to be picky about?!
