Well, I use tinhat as a common term for fandom people who fills the "Are you fucking kidding me?!"-requirement.

I can see it in the "completely fucking divorced from reality so they must be hallucinating shit!" light. Though in this case it's more militant failure to believe in aliens when the aliens have, in fact, already taken over the Earth. "Aliens? What aliens? I've never heard of any aliens."
