Mar. 21st, 2008 06:48 pmTwo wonderful fandom things:
1) The first images of G.I. Joe's Snake Eyes, played by Ray Park :) G.I. Joe, which was released in Europe originally with a name of Action Force, was my first comic book love. As a teenager, I got a bunch of comics for loan from my sister's boyfriend, mostly Superman, Spiderman and Agenti X9, but there were also Action Forces, which I fell in love with immediately. At some point I had all the comics ever released in Finland. My biggest fandom mistake ever was to sell them before I left to study when I was 18. Anyone want to get rid of their collection?
Snake Eyes was one of my favorite characters, along with Billy, Hawk and this radio guy that I had as a action figure. and Snake Eyes is played by Ray Park! Joy!
2) A full documentary movie on Fall Out Boy is in the making. They already have a veteran director Albert Maysles along with them to shoot footage, even when there is no certainty if there will ever be a full move. (They probably have no movie studio to release it yet.) But !!! Even the thought makes me squee and jump. (And go like, "Was this old news? Why does no-one react?!")
