When you start writing a new fic, what is your starting idea?
For example, do you have an aspect for certain characters that you want to explore by creating a problematic situation? Do you have a mood that you want to experience more thoroughly by writing? A crazy fic idea that you read and want to try out by your own? A need to be nice to your readers and create something for them? Writing to fend off boredom? A specific real scene, incident or picture that inspired you to write?
I would be grateful for the answers, this question really interests me!
