I've had enough with you. Even though you host some good fics (like Planet of the dinosaurs and Deconstructing Rodney), they don't balance out with the usual shit. I have tried with you, but our relationship just isn't working.
First of all, you have the honor to be the automatic archive where anyone and everyone will dump their stuff. And as SGA is the "In" fandom right now, there will be both good and bad fics. But somehow, for the reason yet unknown, the huge quantities of fic seem to drop the overall quality to crushingly low. I can understand the pull of Wraithbait for a new/mediocre writer. Even I submitted my first (and so far, only) SGA fic there and got over 400 readers in two days. Who could resist that! But anyway. The overall quality sucks.
Secondly, the archiving system makes it almost impossible to find anything. When the search engine refuses to show any search that hits more than 50 results, it's theoretically possible that in time, when all the categories get filled, the search engine will show nothing at all. It doesn't help any that some writers are so greedy to get readers (or are too stupid to understand common fanfic terms) that they list all the genres in the same fic (How can a fic be first-time, established relationship, angst, drama and PWP at the same time? Especially PWP is commonly mistaken as synonym to "sex")
So, because of these reasons, I have to say that now it's time for us to part out ways. Good luck and have a nice life.
