Squee!!

Back from the Backstreet Boys concert. It was really, really worth it.

-I went with makepeace and sua_lay. Met rikes when we were waiting for the doors to open. What were the probabilities for that ever happening, hm? She recognized me from the same curls that I have sported recently in my lj icons...

- The body search was really half assed and I managed to smuggle my camera in by just putting it into my little shoulder bag and squashing it in the bottom of my back bag. The guard settled for confiscating my water and soda bottles and that was it. So the whole show I went through great pains to take video clips and pictures that probably turn out looking like ass. I feared the whole time that it would be taken away. With the last song, full out came the camera. I hope that it was worth it.

- Squee! The played full two hours and performed all the classic songs and my favorites from the new ones. the "I want you to know" video was playing in the backround when they sang it and sua_lay was all all WTF OMG!! because she hadn't seen it before.

- Nick was wonderful. I love him, he was so freaking goofy, messing up on purpose and exaggerating all the moves. AJ was so good a showman. They snatched a duster from the band and AJ wiped the dust off from Brian and Nick.

- I shed a tear when they sang "drowning" AAWW...

- All and all, a great evening. I laughed, I cried, I screamed, I sang. Tomorrow night I will find out what came out with my messing around with the camera.
