Sep. 6th, 2005 08:51 pmWatched a adorably bad horror movie today, "Pin", only because David Hewlett was in it. It was the most not-scary psychological thriller that I have ever seen, with excruciatingly bad child acting and shitty freudianism. Still it was cute, trying to make hints about eroticism of inanimate objects and incest but being too candy-assed to actually handle the issues. The whole movie I waited for Hewlett to have sex with the anatomically correct mannequin, but alas, no.
Also I went to the local electronic superstore Gigantti to check out new flat screen monitors. I had no idea how crappy the over-all quality is for flat screens and plasma screens! Everyone of the monitors sported the ghost images that came with mediocre picture quality. And the televisions! Who on earth is willing to pay over 2000 euros for a tv that makes your eyes bleed if you so much as take a step closer than two meters from the screen? There was only one screen that didn't make everything look like a Windows Media video, and that cost 4500eur. 0_0 Si in the future, if I have to choose between a big lumpy monitor and a poor picture quality, I choose the traditional bulky monitor any time.
p.s. the lj spell checker doesn't recognize the word "euros". What's up with that?
