So, apparently I'm over my Nsync single and T-shirt binges on eBay. (I might also have bought *N the mix, Justin live, Hard Core Logo, Bent, White Dog and Drumline..)

New obsession: Italian charm bracelet charms! What charms they don't have, they can make them for you! At the moment I'm waiting for my cat, Nsync, Chris Kirkpatrick, a rainbow, blue ribbon and a cup of coffee. I might also custom order a lj charm, hm?

On the other hand, I'm obsessively trying to lessen my stuff (yeah, sure!). Some moron lucky buyer just bought a Robert Jordan book from me on a local internet auction for 12,40€!

You always learn something new: Red ribbon means hiv and aids awareness and light pink means breast cancer, right?

So, apparently blue ribbon is, beside free speech support, also the awareness color for Arthritis, Child Abuse, Colon Cancer, Colorectal Cancer, Dystonia, Eating Disorders, Education, Free Speech, Interstitial Cystitis, ME/CFIDS, Reye's Syndrome, Save the Music, Teens against Smoking, Victim's Rights and Water Quality.

a trip to the Bad Fic Land

Man, I am *so over* reading bad!fics.

Okay. After some time, I went to check if the stories in pregnantboybandslash were as excruciatingly bad as I remembered. Yes, they were. Irked by this, after reading This masterpiece of literature (you have to log in to read it), I decided to give her a little ("") feedback.

Which went like this:( cut for length )

I was really mean, was I? But at that point, I was totally frustrated and that fic wasn't even a good Bad!fic, it just plainly sucked. I knew that I would receive feedback for my provocation, and it went like this:

( cut -- cut -- cut )

And ( like this )

I almost replied with "Ok, it was cruel from me to send it public, but there were honestly nothing to praise about in that story", never mind the threat of kicking me out of the group, because, who cares, but in the end decided to do nothing.

Was I too awful? Or is it my own fault if I, at 28, read something that was written by someone who is probably 14?
