8 Mile on DVD, yeah!

emmuzkaFirst, thank you for all those who cheered me up after my first anime presentation and all who showed up to listen my fan fiction lecture! You made my day!
I bought the 8 Mile DVD and after, like fifth watching, it's still pretty good. But if you are considering buying it for the DVD extras, forget it, they are lousy. Not even a comment track but these short promotional "documentaries" recycling the same material over and over again.
But anyway: I found a new thing in 8 Mile! The relationship between Rabbit and Cheddar Bob. Sure, Rabbit and Future were the best friends, but Rabbit was Cheddar's hero. Cheddar wanted to be an MC just like Rabbit, Rabbit was the only one to understand when Cheddar wanted a break from all the teasing, and most importantly, the scene where Rabbit and the gang were in the backroom, waiting for the battle to start. Rabbit was rhyming to Cheddar Bob *just* like he did to Lily! Even their positions on the screen were similar!
Cheddar wasn't working on a full deck, but he was presented as a pure hearted. How about a fic were all the fame and fortune threatens to turn Rabbit into an asshole and he needs someone pure to ground him back to the basics? Hm?
