I went to see [livejournal.com profile] omega_h's baby boy with [livejournal.com profile] makepeace and [livejournal.com profile] masentaa today. The boy was lovely, as the two-week-olds usually are. Makepeace refused to hold the baby in the grounds of being some kind of igniter of baby hysterics.

Anyway. I had already decided not to participate on NaNoWriMo this year as I will get enough stress in my life without as it is, thank you very much, but now I heard that a friend of mine is planning to make her own version of nanowrimo; Instead of 50 000 words, she has to make 50 pages of comic. That got me interested. Could I do the same? Would I have the time to make the character sketches and plan the plot to get away with it?

I'm yet undecided. It would be a great challenge. I was thinking either a pop slash strip comic or Stargate Atlantis "graphic novel".. On the other hand, there is This example of how great a fan comic can be, just to discourage me. (green? me? nooo...)

The comic thing has been around a few years now. I'm pretty sure there are communities for it.
