How it is possible that there is not a single plus size fashion/what I'm wearing today -blog in Finland? At least nothing that I could have found in a 30 minute search.

I could create one, but my commitment would probably fade after six months. Any volunteers for a shared blog? Requirements would be 1) living in Finland, and 2) dress size larger than 42 (EU sizing).

EDIT: There actually is one, but I'm not very taken by it. Pretty blatant commercial interests and all that.

Theoretically, yes. Would this include pictures because that would probably be too much work for me (I'm laaaazy uploading pics and stuff). Also, I dress more imaginatively in summer ;)

Pictures would be nice, yes. I'm thinking of
- pictures of your outfit of the day (but not every day, duh)
- pictures that you take in the store before you throw you out for taking pictures.
- pictures or large size persons that you meet and kindly ask if you can take a picture. (not mandatory)
- pictures that you find from the net.

The other stuff would be like, where you can find stuff, what is awailable in Finland, how to but online, etc. I truly think that there is a need for a plus size clothing blog. It pretty much looks like that all Finnish fashion blogs are maintained by people under 22 and all plus sized blogs are about dieting. :/

Hmm. Okay, this merits some further thinking. I don't shop for clothes that much so I'm not sure about how much there would be those pictures. Or where to find stuff etc. since my taste is fairly conservative.

But yes, I don't like those dieting blogs or 20-somethings telling people about their newest ripped t-shirts. There really is a need for plus size fashion blog.

Oh hey: would this blog be in English or in Finnish? Either one works for me.

In Finnish, since it's meant pretty stricktly for the Finns. (Like where to get stuff *in Finland*, and not about the latest fashion in Torrid, Lane Bryant or Ulla Popken.

Maybe if we could find a third writer from my Turku Friends?

I would like to participate but do not like to be recognized from pictures. And I think my wardrobe is kind of boring, no accessories and stuff. Lazy me.

I'm still considering if cropped/blurred pictures would be allowed . If yes, welcome! If no, well, next time then.

Jos saan vinkata, niin voisiko aihetta laajentaa muihinkin haasteellisiin pukeutujiin, jotka eivät täytä mallinukkemittaa. Vaikka vaihtuvana vieraana? Iso kengännumero, pieni kengännumero, isot rinnat, olemattomat rinnat, 36:n numeron yläosa ja 44 numeron alaosa, lyhytjalkainen, leveähartiainen...

Toki toki, jos saamme homman pystyyn. Vierailevia tähtiä ja siis neuvoja otetaan ilolla vastaan :)

Voisin ehkä yrittää. Vaikka oon nyt vetänyt vaatekokoja alas vauhdilla, oon tuskin alle neljäkakkonen anytime soon ;)

Tosin mäkään en hirveesti osta vaatteita ja pukeudun lähes pelkkään mustaan, mut silti.

Cool :) Voisin miettiä konseptia eteenpäin. LJ-pohja tähän ei ole välttämättä paras, ellei sitten haluta kavereita pohjayleisöksi ;) Mutta joku jossa voi laittaa kuvia ilmaiseksi. Katotaan jos into riittää niin vois jossain vaiheessa kerääntyä yhteen sopimaan jutuista.

Mulla on pääsy webbisivutilaan, wp-installaatioihin ja voi sille ostaa vaikka oman domaininkin, kun ei ne nyt paljoa maksa.

Niin siis mähän olen tietojenkäsittelytieteilijä :D

Kuulostaa hyvältä. Word Pressia ajattelin, mutta itse en tajua blogialustoista mitään ja aijon antaa ainoan domainin umpeutua kun sen ylläpitäfirma on niin paska. Mutta jos sulta löytyy taitoa niin multa löytyy vuosimaksua ;)

voisi myös funtsia että kuinka helposti tai vaikesti saisi sellaisen installaatiot että ottaa nokia kännykällä kuvan ja postaa sen suoraan kännystä blogiin. Pitäisi olla mahdollista mutta eipä tuo oo mulla ainakaan lj:n ja macin kanssa onnannut.
